Chalet Prades, our exclusive chalet in Alta Badia, is situated right in the heart of this natural paradise, in a fantastic location, just 100 m from the centre of the picturesque village of La Villa. In winter, Alta Badia is among the most renowned ski resorts in South Tyrol. Centrally located, the Dolomiti Superski area includes modern ski lifts, perfectly groomed slopes, and beautiful huts offering excellent cuisine. In summer, Alta Badia becomes a paradise for hikers, climbers, and cyclists, in the heart of the Dolomites. The famous Sellaronda Dolomites tour can be undertaken in both winter (with skis) and summer (with racing bikes).
Arrival
By car
Take the motorway A22 exit at Bressanone, and then the state road SS49 of Val Pusteria to San Lorenzo di Sebato. Turn right onto provincial road SS244 of Val Badia and follow the signs to La Villa. Once you reach the centre of La Villa, turn left after approx. 100 m into the parking lot of the Piz La Ila cable car.
In both winter and summer, you will need to take a ticket to enter the parking lot. We will provide you with a remote control to open and close the entry bar. A warm welcome to the Chalet Prades!
By train
The closest stations are Brunico (38 km away), Bressanone (70 km away), and Bolzano (70 km away via the Gardena pass, 100 km away via Brunico). Given the excellent bus connection from the station to La Villa, we recommend arriving at the Brunico station.
